Ablepreneurs Ltd — Website and Community Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 8 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the Terms) apply when you use the Ablepreneurs website, join our community, attend our events or learning sessions, or buy a membership, course, digital product or other
service from us.
Please read them before you register or purchase.
By creating an account, joining the community or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the relevant service.
Some purchases may also have specific terms shown on the relevant sales or checkout page. Those specific terms form part of your contract with us. If they conflict with these Terms, the specific terms will apply to that purchase.
1. Who we are
Ablepreneurs Limited® (Ablepreneurs, we, us or our) is a company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 17190482
Registered office: 41 Caldera Road, Hadley, Telford, England, TF1 5LT
Email: hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk
2. What Ablepreneurs provides
Ablepreneurs is a community created to support disabled, chronically ill and neurodivergent entrepreneurs, freelancers, creatives and
professionals.
Depending on the membership or product selected,
our services may include:
● Free or paid community membership;
● online networking and peer support;
● virtual co-working;
● courses, masterclasses, workshops and learning sessions;
● digital products and resources; and
● access to information about independent
Trusted Partners whose services may be relevant to our community.
The exact features, content, price, billing period and duration of a paid membership, event, course or digital product will be explained on the relevant sales or checkout page before purchase.
3. Who may use our services
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, join the community or make a purchase.
Membership eligibility and any additional joining criteria will be stated on the relevant membership page. You must provide complete and accurate information when registering and keep your information up to date. We may refuse an application if the eligibility criteria are not met or if we reasonably believe that accepting it would pose a safety, legal, or community-integrity risk. We will not refuse access unlawfully or
discriminate contrary to applicable equality law.
If you need a reasonable adjustment to access our
website, community or services, contact us at
Ablepreneurs does not require members or customers to provide a medical diagnosis, health history, disability status, medical evidence or proof of eligibility to join the community, attend events or purchase our services. Members may voluntarily share personal experiences, but doing so is never a condition of participation.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for:
● keeping your login details confidential;
● activity carried out through your account;
● telling us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission; and
● ensuring that your device, internet connection and software are suitable for accessing the service.
Your account and membership are personal to you. You must not share access, allow another person to use your account or copy paid content for anyone who has not purchased or been granted access to it.
Voluntary sharing of personal experience.
Members may voluntarily share information about their health, disability, neurodivergence or personal experiences in community profiles, posts, comments, messages or live sessions. Sharing this information is entirely optional. Ablepreneurs does not require medical diagnoses, health histories or disability evidence for membership, participation or purchases.
Some voluntarily shared information may constitute special category personal data under UK GDPR. We use appropriate safeguards to protect sensitive information, including restricting access to relevant community spaces, limiting unnecessary collection and allowing members to request removal of their contributions. We do not use health or disability disclosures to assess eligibility, create medical profiles, target advertising or sell personal information.
Members should not share another person's sensitive information without appropriate authority.
If you require an accessibility adjustment, please tell us what support you need rather than providing unnecessary medical details.
You may request removal of your contributions by contacting hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk or using available deletion controls.
Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where voluntarily shared information constitutes special category personal data, we will process it only where we have established an appropriate lawful basis under Article 6 UK GDPR and a separate condition under Article 9. Where explicit consent is required, we will obtain and record it through an appropriate separate process.
5. Free membership
Any free membership, resource or community feature is provided without charge and may be changed, limited or withdrawn on reasonable notice.
You may cancel your free membership at any time using the available account controls or by emailing
6. Paid memberships
6.1 What is included - The membership page and checkout will state what is included in your chosen plan. Membership benefits may vary between plans and may change over time in accordance with section 15.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, purchasing a membership does not guarantee a particular business result, level of participation, number of live events or outcome.
6.2 Fees and payment
Membership fees are payable in advance at the price and frequency shown at checkout. Prices will state whether VAT is included or payable, where applicable. You authorise our payment provider to take the
payments shown at checkout. You must keep your payment information up to date. If a payment fails, we may retry it, ask you to use another payment method or suspend access while the amount remains unpaid. We will not charge fees that were not disclosed before purchase.
6.3 Recurring memberships
Where the checkout states that a membership renews automatically, it will continue for successive billing periods until you cancel it. You may stop future renewals at any time via the cancellation method described at checkout, in your account where that option is available, or by emailing
hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and we will not take any further renewal payment. To avoid the next payment, submit your cancellation before the next billing date. This does not affect any
statutory cancellation right described in section 9.
6.4 Fixed-term plans and instalments
If you buy a fixed-term membership and choose to pay by instalments, the instalments are a payment plan for the full fixed-term price unless the checkout expressly states that it is a cancel-anytime monthly membership. Ending participation does not automatically cancel unpaid instalments for a fixed-term purchase, subject always to your statutory
rights and any express cancellation right stated at checkout.
7. Courses, masterclasses, events and digital products
The relevant sales page will describe the main content, format, access period, date and time (if applicable), technical requirements and price.
We may make reasonable changes to a session, including changing a speaker, the running order, or a minor element, as long as this does not materially reduce what you purchased. If we cancel a paid live event or learning session and do not provide a reasonable replacement date or
equivalent alternative, we will refund the amount you paid for that cancelled item. We are not responsible for unrelated costs you incur unless the law requires otherwise. Access to recordings, courses and digital resources lasts for the period stated on the sales page. “Lifetime
access” will mean access for as long as Ablepreneurs continues to make that product available, not the lifetime of an individual user or an indefinite
guarantee that a platform will remain unchanged. Courses, community discussions and learning materials provide general information and education. They are not a substitute for advice tailored to your
circumstances, including legal, medical, financial, tax or mental-health advice. You remain responsible for your own decisions and should obtain appropriate professional advice where needed.
8. Prices, promotions and changes
The price applicable to your purchase is the price shown at the time of your order. Promotions apply only on the terms and during the period stated. We may change prices for future purchases at any time. For a recurring paid membership, we will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it
takes effect. A price change will not alter the price of a fixed-term purchase already made unless you expressly agree.
9. Consumer cancellation rights and refunds
This section applies where you purchase as a consumer. A consumer is an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or
profession. If you buy wholly or mainly for business purposes, statutory consumer cancellation rights may not apply.
9.1 Fourteen-day cancellation period
For most online service contracts, you have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. The cancellation period begins on the day after the contract is made. To cancel, email hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to. If you cancel successfully, we will refund the amount due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
9.2 Services started during the cancellation period
If you ask us to begin providing a service during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel before it has been fully provided, we may deduct a
proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time you cancelled, where the law allows. If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, your cancellation right will only be lost where you expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged before supply began that you would lose that right once the service had been fully performed.
9.3 Digital content supplied immediately
For digital content supplied immediately and not on a physical medium, such as a download or immediately accessible course, your statutory right to cancel will be lost once supply begins, unless and only where, before
supply:
● you expressly consented to supply beginning during the 14-day cancellation period; and
● you acknowledged that you would lose your cancellation right when supply began.
If we do not obtain those confirmations correctly, your statutory rights remain.
9.4 Cancellation after the statutory period
After any statutory cancellation period has ended:
● a cancel-anytime recurring membership may be cancelled for future billing in accordance with section 6.3;
● amounts already paid for a current billing period are not normally refunded merely because you choose not to continue using the
membership during that period;
● fixed-term payment obligations continue as explained in section 6.4; and
● additional refund or transfer terms stated on a particular sales page will apply.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights where a service or digital product is faulty, not as described, not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or where the law otherwise entitles you to a remedy.
10. Community standards
Ablepreneurs is intended to be a safe, respectful and inclusive community. When using it, you must:
● communicate respectfully and in good faith;
● respect other people’s privacy, boundaries, access needs and lived experience;
● keep confidential any personal or commercially sensitive information shared in a space that is reasonably understood to be private;
● comply with applicable laws and the rules communicated for particular community spaces or events; and
● tell us promptly about serious safety, harassment or safeguarding concerns.
You must not:
● harass, threaten, abuse, exploit or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
● publish hate speech, unlawful, defamatory, deliberately misleading or infringing content;
● share another person’s confidential or personal information without authority;
● scrape member information, send spam, make unsolicited mass approaches or use the community primarily to harvest leads;
● impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, qualifications or relationship with Ablepreneurs;
● upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access or interfere with the website or community systems;
● record a private session or another member without prior permission; or
● use Ablepreneurs’ name or community to suggest an endorsement that we have not given. We may publish a separate Community Code of
Conduct. If so, it forms part of these Terms.
● Upload another member's identifiable personal information, health or disability information, private messages, confidential business information or community discussions into external AI tools without appropriate permission and a lawful basis.
If we use AI-assisted transcription, captioning, or summarisation tools during live sessions, we will explain their use to participants. We will not upload identifiable member recordings, transcripts or confidential discussions to external generative AI tools. Any AI-enabled processing of session information through approved service providers will be subject to appropriate privacy, security and data protection safeguards.
11. Member content and confidentiality
You retain ownership of content you create and
submit. When you post content within the community, you
grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display, and technically adapt that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, and promote the relevant community feature. This licence ends when the content is deleted, or your account closes, except where copies must reasonably be retained for legal, security or backup purposes, or where the content has already been shared by others within the functionality you used. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. You are responsible for it and for ensuring it does not breach another person’s rights. Other members may share valuable personal or business information. You must not copy, disclose or use information shared in a private community space outside that space without the person’s permission. Ablepreneurs cannot guarantee that every participant will comply, so you should use care when deciding what to disclose.
Members must not copy, record, distribute or disclose another person's confidential contributions outside the relevant community space without appropriate permission. This includes using identifiable contributions to create AI-generated content, summaries, recordings or training materials. Members remain responsible for their own contributions and for respecting the privacy and intellectual property rights of others.
12. Recordings and contributions
We will tell participants in advance, or at the start, whether an event or session will be recorded and explain how we may use the recording. Where reasonably possible, you may keep your camera and microphone off or choose not to contribute to the recording. We will not use your name, image, testimonial or identifiable contribution in public marketing without an appropriate lawful basis and any permission required
by law. Further information is provided in our Privacy Notice.
If we use AI-assisted transcription, captioning, or summarisation tools during live sessions, we will explain their use to participants. We will not upload identifiable member recordings, transcripts or confidential discussions to external generative AI tools. Any processing through approved AI-enabled service providers will be subject to appropriate privacy and data protection safeguards, as explained in our Privacy Notice.
13. Trusted Partners and third-party services
Trusted Partners are independent businesses or professionals whose services may be relevant to the community. They are not employees, agents or representatives of Ablepreneurs. The word “Trusted” indicates that Ablepreneurs selected a partner according to its partner criteria. It
is not a regulated accreditation, a guarantee of results or a promise that a partner will be suitable for every member. We will not claim to have completed checks that we have not performed. A partner may pay Ablepreneurs a listing, participation or partnership fee. Where we receive a
referral fee or commission connected to a member’s purchase, we will disclose this where required.
If you choose to buy from or work with a Trusted Partner:
● your contract is directly with that partner;
● the partner’s own terms, privacy notice, prices and cancellation policy apply;
● you are responsible for deciding whether the service is suitable for you; and
● complaints about the partner’s service should first be directed to the partner, although you may also tell us about concerns relevant to
their continued participation. We remain responsible for our own actions and for any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. Our separate commercial arrangements with TrustedPartners are governed by individual Partner Terms or agreements and are not created by these website Terms.
14. Intellectual property
The website, Ablepreneurs branding, course materials, recordings, templates, digital products and other content supplied by us are owned by
Ablepreneurs or used under licence. All intellectual property rights are reserved. Unless a product licence expressly says otherwise, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use purchased content for your own use during the stated access period.
You must not, without prior written permission:
● copy, reproduce, resell, sublicense or distribute our content;
● share paid resources or account access with another person;
● remove copyright, trade mark or ownership notices;
● use our content to create a competing product, course, membership or resource; or
● use Ablepreneurs’ name, logo or trade marks in a way that implies approval, partnership or endorsement.
15. Changes to services and these Terms
We may update or improve the website, community, platform, content and timetable. We may also replace a third-party platform or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary. For material changes to a paid service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and will not
materially reduce a fixed-term purchase without providing an appropriate alternative or remedy. We may update these Terms for legal, regulatory,
security, operational or service reasons. We will post the latest version on the website with a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects an existing paid membership, we will give reasonable notice. Where required by law, we will seek your agreement or allow you to cancel before the change takes effect.
We also maintain an Ethical AI & Responsible Use Policy, which explains our commitments to responsible technology use, human oversight, transparency, fairness and accessibility. This policy complements our privacy and data protection practices.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website or community at any time. Paid membership cancellation is dealt with in sections 6 and 9. We may remove content, restrict features or suspend an account while we investigate a suspected breach, safety concern, payment failure or legal risk. We may terminate access immediately for a serious breach, including harassment, unlawful discrimination, threats, fraud, deliberate misuse of personal information, serious confidentiality breaches or attempts to compromise our systems. For less serious breaches, we will normally provide a warning
and, where appropriate, a reasonable opportunity to correct the behaviour.
Where we terminate a paid membership, we will deal fairly with any prepaid amount relating to the unused period, taking into account the reason for termination and applicable law. Termination does not affect rights or liabilities that arose before termination. You may email hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk if you believe a moderation, suspension or termination decision was made in error.
17. Availability and technology
We aim to keep our services available but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security incidents, internet outages, and
third-party platform issues may affect availability. We will take reasonable steps to restore services and,n where a material part of a paid service is unavailable for a significant period, provide an appropriate extension, alternative or other remedy where fair and legally required. The website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or privacy practices, although this does not exclude the responsibility the law places on us.
18. Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence
Ablepreneurs may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support content creation, research, education, administration, accessibility and other operational activities.
Our use of AI is governed by our Ethical AI & Responsible Use Policy and our Privacy Notice.
Members may use AI tools to support their own business, learning and accessibility needs, provided they comply with these Terms, applicable laws and the privacy, confidentiality and intellectual property rights of others.
Members are responsible for their independent use of AI tools and must not present AI-generated material as another person's genuine experience, contribution or endorsement.
Ablepreneurs does not use generative AI to independently make significant decisions about membership eligibility, access to support or opportunities.
19. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
● death or personal injury caused by negligence;
● fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
● breach of any liability that cannot lawfully be
excluded or limited; or
● your statutory rights as a consumer.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses where you purchased as a consumer, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. If you use our services for business purposes, then,
to the fullest extent permitted by law:
● we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for indirect or
consequential loss; and
● our total aggregate liability arising from the relevant service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for that service during the 12months before the event giving rise to the claim. We do not guarantee business growth, income, sales, clients, collaborations, health outcomes, or any other specific result from membership, learning content, community participation, or a Trusted Partner relationship.
20. Privacy and Data Protection
Ablepreneurs processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable UK data protection legislation.
We do not require medical diagnoses, health histories, disability evidence or other sensitive medical information as a condition of membership, participation or purchasing our products and services.
Members may choose to share personal experiences, including information relating to disability, chronic illness or neurodivergence. Such disclosures are entirely voluntary.
Members must respect the confidentiality and privacy of others and must not disclose another person's sensitive information without appropriate authority.
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information, including any voluntarily disclosed special category data, is handled, the lawful bases and conditions relied upon, retention periods and individual data protection rights.
Our Ethical AI & Responsible Use Policy explains our commitments to responsible and transparent AI use.
Our Community Code sets out the standards of behaviour expected from members and participants.
21. Complaints
If you have a complaint about Ablepreneurs, email hello@ablepreneurs.co.uk with:
● your name and account email address;
● what happened;
● any relevant dates or documents; and
● the outcome you are seeking.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within five working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days. If more time is reasonably needed, we will explain why and provide an updated
timeframe. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, communicate material disruption and resume the affected service when reasonably possible. This section does not remove any refund or other right you have under applicable law.
22. General legal terms
If any part of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect.
If we delay enforcing a right, that does not mean we have waived it.
You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a genuine business transfer or reorganisation, provided this does not reduce your legal rights. These Terms, together with the information and any specific terms shown at checkout, form the
agreement between you and Ablepreneurs for the relevant service.
No person other than you and Ablepreneurs has a right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
23. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections provided by the law of the country in which you live and may bring proceedings in your local courts where applicable. If you use our services for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
